Dave Andrews founded Community 102 to serve a blossoming need in the developing field of social networking and communities. As president, Andrews is spearheading the company’s mission to aid clients in their quest to reach a global audience across any platform.
Prior to launching Community 102, Andrews served as Vice President of Production and Interactive Entertainment at GSN, The Network For Games. There, he was in charge of managing the production process of interactive television, as well as the company’s online games and mobile initiatives, and other corporate multi-platform endeavors. Among his many contributions, Andrews created more than 50 interactive television shows, and established a single-player cash game, where players could compete online to be game show contestants on LINGO. GSN saw more than 100 million plays of games that Andrews developed.

As Producer of Experimental Online Programming and Gaming at Icebox.com, Andrews produced the internet sensation “Mr. Wong.” This internet show received an “A” in an Entertainment Weekly review. Before his job at Icebox, Andrews was a Producer at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment. In this capacity he designed websites, implemented strategies for grass roots marketing, and consulted on developing Internet communities. Further rounding out his past experiences are his roles as Animation Production Manager and Post-Production Supervisor for the Disney television series “One Saturday Morning.”
Since taking the helm of Community 102, Andrews has been developing strategic partnerships with global entertainment technology companies to make a mark in the US digital entertainment space and grow their communities.
A four-time Emmy Award nominee in the Interactive Television category, Andrews is also a member of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Casual Games Association, the Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing, and the International Game Developers Association.
